It Was a Happy Father’s Day

Dear Reader, I’m assuming that you’re not going to hyperventilate and lose sleep because this father chose to spend time with family on Father’s Day rather than (gasp) put in a few hours writing and tweaking a blog post.  Seriously, though, I appreciate your graciousness (again).

I never forget that this is for you, that you are coming here because you love photography so much that, like me, you can’t – just cannot – stop learning.  I’m honored that you come here for the part of your learning process that I contribute to.

I hope you had a phenomenal weekend!

YOUR ASSIGNMENT: (somewhat tongue-in-cheek)  If you live in Colorado, register ASAP to go on the Obedience Training for Your Camera field trip to Crystal Mill, Colorado. This coming Saturday, June 23rd, we’ll be taking Jeeps from the town of Marble up to one of the most famous, photogenic, iconic and hard-to-reach spots in the state.  The cost is a very reasonable $190 for the Jeep tour, 1-1/2 hours at the site and an overnight stay at the Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs.  Details?  You want more details?  Of course.  Go to and click on the photo of the Crystal Mill.
